 Attorney Ryan Bratcher received his A.S. degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University, and double majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science at Indiana University-Bloomington. He earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law, where he has remained active by volunteering time to the school’s various programs.
Mr. Bratcher is a work injury attorney and personal injury attorney in Indiana, and has represented hundreds of people in pursuing compensation or benefits in personal injury and disability matters. This experience has come from a variety of cases, including car accidents, slip and fall incidents, and on-the-job accidents. Mr. Bratcher has considerable trial experience. He is also a part-time deputy prosecutor handling domestic violence cases.
Mr. Bratcher is admitted to practice in all Indiana courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Victory Christian Academy in Valparaiso and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He has also served as Lake Superior Court Judge, pro tempore.
In his free time, Attorney Bratcher enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid baseball fan, and has been a volunteer baseball coach with the Valparaiso Parks Department for nine years. He is also the head coach of the Victory Christian Academy varsity baseball team.

 Before law school, Mr. Vanderground worked for a multi-billion dollar private company and later taught high school economics and coached varsity boys’ basketball at a private school in Ohio. During law school, he worked as an intern in city government, a research assistant to a professor, and as a law clerk for a large law firm in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Vanderground earned a B.S. from Grace College in Business Administration and his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.
Mr. Vanderground is a work injury attorney and personal injury attorney in Indiana. He has represented hundreds of injured and disabled people. In addition, as an experienced worker's compensation lawyer and Social Security disability attorney, Attorney Vanderground has helped many secure the benefits they are entitled to.
He has also helped companies of many sizes in nearly every area of business law, including incorporation, contract drafting and review, employment law issues and collections.
In 2008, Mr. Vanderground was named an Up and Coming Lawyer by Indiana Lawyer magazine.
Attorney Vanderground is licensed to practice law in all Indiana courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for Northern Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, and also frequently serves as a judge pro tempore in various courts around Northwest Indiana.
Currently, in addition to practicing law, Mr. Vanderground is an adjunct professor of business at Grace College. He is married and has two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys reading and college basketball.
