What are your office hours?
Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed everyday from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch.
Can I meet with an attorney on a weekend?
Saturday meetings are available by appointment.
What if I can't get to the office because of my injuries?
If you have been injured, we can make arrangements to meet with you at your home or at the hospital to discuss your case and review necessary paperwork.
How do I get to your office?
Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. is conveniently located just off Broadway in Merrillville, IN, south of Methodist Hospital. To get to our office, turn East onto 90th Avenue off of Broadway and proceed until the road curves to the south and turns into Connecticut. Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. is located at Connecticut Center which is on the West side of Connecticut Street.
How are attorneys fees paid? Will I need a retainer? How much?
Often times your case can be taken on a contingency basis which means that the attorneys fees are paid from a recovery made on your behalf. In the event that no recovery is made in these types of cases, no attorneys fees would be owed. Our firm also advances expenses when prosecuting certain cases. Personal injury cases are most commonly taken on a contingency basis, so no money is required to be paid up front. We also offer flat fee and hourly payment arrangements. At Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C., we do our best to work out a payment arrangement that works best for you, the client.
Do you take credit card payments?
We do accept payment by Master Card, Visa, and Discover cards.
How much does it cost for a consultation with an attorney?
All initial consultations with the attorneys at Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. are free. During your initial consultation, payment options will be discussed in the event that Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. is able to provide legal representation to you.
Will I be able to speak directly to the attorney assigned to my case once I have retained the Law Firm of Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C. to represent me?
At Bratcher & Vanderground, P.C., we pride ourselves on being available to our clients to address any questions or concerns they may have during the course of our handling of their case. This means that your attorney will be available to speak with you and answer any of your questions or concerns personally.
